What Is a FiveM Script?
A FiveM script is a piece of code that adds functionality to your server — anything from a robbery mechanic and a phone system to a full economy or job framework. Scripts are what turn a plain GTA V map into an actual roleplay server with things for players to do.
ESX vs. QBCore vs. Standalone
Most FiveM scripts are built for a specific framework, and picking the right one matters before you buy:
- ESX — one of the longest-running FiveM frameworks, with a large ecosystem of compatible scripts.
- QBCore — a newer, widely-used framework built around a similar job/economy structure to ESX but with its own conventions.
- Standalone — scripts that don’t depend on a framework at all, usually the easiest to drop into any server regardless of what you’re running.
Installing a script built for the wrong framework is one of the most common setup mistakes — always check compatibility before purchasing.

Our script catalog is organized by framework: ESX Scripts, QBCore Scripts, and our general FiveM Scripts category for standalone and multi-framework resources. Every script includes installation documentation and is delivered as an instant digital download.
Scripts and MLOs Work Together
Many scripts are designed to pair with a specific location — a shop script needs a shop interior, a police script works best with a real police station. If you’re setting up a new job or system, take a look at our FiveM MLO catalog for a matching interior. Running RedM instead? Our RedM scripts cover the same ground for Red Dead Redemption 2 servers.
